Homebrew at Scale

In this talk, I explored the Homebrew package manager from a maintainer’s perspective. I discussed how Homebrew’s fully automated CI pipeline builds and distributes binary packages (bottles), as well as the technical challenges of porting Homebrew to ARM64 Linux, from architecture compatibility issues to future roadmap plans.

This talk explored the technical hurdles for adapting the package manager to the ARM64 Linux platform. I examined the work done so far and the ongoing work needed to make Homebrew more accessible and reliable for ARM64 Linux users.
